About the Project & Role
This JRF position is part of a 3-year, ANRF-sponsored research project focused on designing ultra-high-speed (100+ Gbps) optical transceivers for onboard satellite systems and inter-satellite communication. Candidates should ideally have experience with Cadence Virtuoso, foundry PDKs, and ADS simulation tools, along with strong knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuit design and CMOS technologies. Responsibilities include photonic and electronic circuit design, layout, verification, tape-out support, and chip characterisation. Knowledge of EM simulation tools and electromagnetic modeling of high-frequency structures will be an added advantage.
